Jim Kathman, Director of Marketing Strategy and Online Video, Associated Press
Jim Kathman joined AP in 2001 as Director of Strategy & Planning for AP Broadcast and was named Global Director of Product Management for AP Broadcast in 2006. His business planning expertise and leadership resulted in the partnership with Microsoft and creation of the Online Video Network in March 2006. In addition to managing AP's online video products, he has product management responsibility for products sold to broadcasters worldwide - including text, audio, video, and graphics. He previously held planning, sales, and marketing positions with Perot Systems and Dow Chemical. Kathman graduated from Purdue University and has joint master's degrees from the University of Maryland."
