Surya Kumar IVG is head of HCL VoIP/IMS business unit and owns software product engineering, management, services, marketing and customer relationship activities. He is responsible for implementation of solution accelerators and conformance test frameworks in VoIP/IMS technology domain for HCL. He leads the team which contributes significantly in the area of convergence applications for HCL customers. He is also instrumental in understanding the market parameters, customer requirements and directing the product line for next generation technical solutions. He has more than 16+ years of experience and worked on embedded systems, real-time systems, networking and convergence. Participates regularly and speaks in technology forums and events globally such as VON, ITEXPO, ICSTEST, SIP it and ETSI. He holds a master’s degree in communication systems engineering.
